This is one of those fan music video hits that make you go whoa? Cool! Basshunter who made Boten Anna (a song about an IRC bot), that became this summers NR 1 hit song in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Holland. Has done it again, this time the song is titled: "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA" -- or sitting in Ventrilo and playing DotA (Defense of the Ancients), a Blizzard Entertainment Warcraft III custom-map -- thanks, CarpeNoctum. Throughout the song you can listen to various Warcraft III in-game character quotes such as the troll, goblin, orc blademaster, and a dwarf.
Basshunter - the pseudonym of the Swedish musician and DJ Jonas Altberg - is a phenomena in the music industry. A rare to see mix of gaming-meets-the-music world which has given him entry to vast acceptance in Europe's gaming pop-culture fanbase. Basshunter made a historical #2 in Holland sales charts with his song SWEDISH. He has a deal with Warner Music, and created this DoTA video for his latest debut album titled: "LOL <(^^,)>". My neighbors might be pissed at me after playing that for last two hours (Chuckles!).
