Blizzard has announced six new Job Openings for any who fills the requirements. The new openings are:
Assistant Community Manager
Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an organized, sociable, and energetic Assistant Community Manager for World of Warcraft. This person will serve as a conduit between the development team and players of the game, relaying feedback to the developers and the rest of the company and keeping players informed about current plans, policies, and updates related to World of Warcraft. The Assistant Community Manager is also responsible for contributing to the World of Warcaft community website and for representing Blizzard in meetings with the public and the press. Other areas of responsibility include fan-site interaction, fan-fair participation, and assisting the other members of the community team with a variety of related tasks.
The ideal candidate would be an avid massively multiplayer online gamer with experience as a member or moderator of a forum-based community. An even temper and a passion for providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment are essential. Also, this person would be highly motivated, conscientious, and detail oriented, with excellent communication skills.

Automated Tools Programmer
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a creative computer programmer to join the Quality Assurance/Support team. The focus of this position will be to maintain and further develop automated support tools, with an emphasis on efficient and user-friendly UI design using .NET, client/server architecture, and database experience with Oracle. PL/SQL experience is a plus.

Game Master
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for experienced MMORPG gamers to serve as Game Masters (GMs) for our recently released game, World of Warcraft.
GMs are customer service specialists with an expert knowledge of World of Warcraft's epic fantasy setting. Their main role is to provide assistance and guidance to players in-game. GMs will serve as the direct link between Blizzard and its customers- a global audience, hungry for new adventures within the famed Warcraft Universe. Additionally, GMs will be responsible for in-game customer support, as well as email-based customer support. The ideal candidate is a hardcore MMORPG player who is very organized, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
These are temporary, entry-level positions that are paid by the hour. GM's MUST be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) at our headquarters in Irvine, California. At this time, we are only accepting resumes from applicants who currently live in Southern California. Shift hours may vary. The Game Master Department is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Please note that applicants must be able to work additional (overtime) hours and weekends as needed. Sorry, but there are no part-time or internship-level positions open at this time.
