Future Starcraft Game titles?
A Blizzard representative offered an unusual response to a player, which might open few speculations. However, he covered himself well. It is up to you to dismiss or spring up diverse opinions on the matter:
Blizzard Europe recently announced the following: "We are pleased to announce that our European Offices are now supporting all of our Legacy titles. This includes the Diablo, StarCraft, and Warcraft series. They will be able to provide support in English, French, German, and Spanish. If you wish to contact our European Support department."
To this Veta@USEast asked at the Official Starcraft Forums the following:
Veta: What series?! There's only one game. Books are not part of the series, only the Universes. So... I would kindly ask that it would say "the Diablo and WarCraft series and StarCraft."
DatH - a Blizzard Representative - replied: StarCraft and Brood War. StarCraft64 is unsupported by the Blizzard team but users will be able to talk about it there if they wanted to. Future game titles for the StarCraft Universe will be included there as well. I meant things like Ghost, if it gets resumed. Our internal support team has not downsized. We're still the same. We expanded to include Europe and other countries as part of Blizzard instead of relying on 3rd party support.

Project Revolution Public Q&A Soon
On Wednesday, a group of staff members from many fansites met on IRC chat for a private Q&A with the developers of the long-awaited Project Revolution. For those who have been living under a rock for last three years, Project Revolution is a Starcraft-to-Warcraft III Total Conversion.
Of the old team very few remain, but fresh talent has joined to wield and carry-on forth the flag. And it has not been for naught for the end is nigh! A year ago, the team had reached a 50% of work done. Although no date of release was offered, it seems things are getting closer. Most of our private Q&A needs to remain secret for a couple of weeks, as agreed by all fansites present. The Q&A on last wednesday was to give a chance to fansites to throw in questions in advance for the avalanche of fans to join the upcoming public Q&A will be historical in the modding community.
It will be worth the wait for in a week or two we will announce the date of a Public Q&A with the Project Revolution developers. Note that they are fans working hard for the fans. They are not part of Blizzard Entertainment. The team is hosted by WC3Campaigns. Be alert of a definite date for the Q&A and start gathering questions.
Basically, they are creating Starcraft 3D Models of units, buildings, attack special effects, tilesets, doodads; and throwing them in into the Warcraft 3 engine for a awesome Starcraft 3D RTS experience. Even the interface will look like the Starcraft: Broodwar game. You need to be owner of Starcraft, Starcraft: Brood War, and Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos to play. One of my questions were related to this. The Project Revolution installer will ask for those game CDs to install necessary files. This reduces the file size of the Total Conversion and makes sure you have a legal copy of the game.
I invite you to visit and bookmark the Project Revolution website. It has gameplay screenshots and screenshots of Terran, Protoss and Zerg 3D model units and buildings as a sneak peek. Among the fansites that met in private chat are: Blizzplanet, Broodwar.de, SCLegacy, Gosugamers.net, PGTour.net, GGL, CAL and mYm.
As you see the private Q&A was taken serious by some of the top Starcraft and Warcraft fansites. Below are links to the sneak peek. Make sure to gather your questions in advance for the moderated Public Q&A. SCLegacy-rise will be moderating the upcoming Q&A. On another note, what made us think the Project Revolution is reaching its end of production is ... Project Revolution Team has announced their new Game Studios name: Snowflake Entertainment. Many of the guys are seriously considering game development as a career. Stay tuned and don't miss the Public Q&A. You will want to find out if the project will have Multiplayer on Battle.net or if you can create your own campaigns.

Wow CMs start Starcraft quote madness
This is not exactly news, but Rise from SCLegacy dared me to post it. After all day long of World of Warcraft players not able to log in to the game or to the official forums due to a long login account upgrade, Tseric posted a thread on the Wow Official forums to announce that login account was now operational.
However, he chose a distinctive way to announce it. The forum thread was simply "In the pipe", followed by his post text: "5 by 5". It is a easter egg from the movie Aliens used in Starcraft as a quote by the Dropship female pilot. Two more Community Managers or Forum Mods posted similar Starcraft quotes.
Coreiel posted "Reporting for duty!, while Drokthul answered "You call for an exterminator?
This caused a chain reaction of fans that automatically started login in to reply their greetings post with follow up Starcraft quotes. Check out the multiple pages worth of feedback.

"The mastery of professional gamer?s hands and their familiarity with the Internet environment can be good qualities to become day traders,?? he added. He declined to disclose the players? identity, though."

Glynnis launches Lady Danger under Sarah McKerrigan
You may know that I do follow ups on the Blizzard book writers and voice actors I have interviewed in the past. Well, after almost a year of wait, Glynnis Talken - voice actress of Starcraft Kerrigan has announced the launch of her latest Romantic Medieval book Lady Danger. But this book is a tidbit more special than any of her past books ... this is the first book under Warner Publishing and under her new pseudonym ... Sarah McKerrigan. Yup, you heard right. Warner Publishing didn't want her previous pseudonym of Glynnis Campbell beause it was attached to her previous publisher, so she went ahead and chose the name of the favorite Starcraft character she voiced over.
Today, April 1 -- if you read this in time, Glynnis ... err, Sarah McKerrigan will be book signing at the Kern County Scottish Society Gathering and Games at Stramler Park in Bakersfield, California. You can find her at the Tea & Sympathy booth. Read her April Newsletter below:

Starcraft: The Board Game
Fantasy Flight Games has announced a new Starcraft Board Game. Following the success and popularity of the Warcraft and World of Warcraft board games, we are very pleased to announce the release of an epic board game based on Blizzard Entertainment?s classic Starcraft computer game. This will be one of our big box games, in the tradition of Twilight Imperium, Descent: Journeys in the Dark, and World of Warcraft: the Board Game. It features a large central game board depicting the Starcraft galaxy, as well as nine separate smaller boards that each represent a specific planet in the Starcraft universe. Players will control the familiar Terran, Protoss, or Zerg space and ground units in a bid for domination of these nine worlds. The combat system is fast and diceless, featuring an innovative mechanic that utilizes transparent plastic game cards. The game will feature dozens of beautifully sculpted plastic figures, dozens of cards, lots of high-quality cardboard tokens and markers, a large game board and several mini-boards, and all of the other great components that pack our epic-size games. Starcraft: The Board Game is scheduled for release in October.

Starcraft: Queen of Blades Q&A Transcript
We spent two hours and forty minutes with Aaron Rosenberg today at WCRadio's IRC Chat to discuss the upcoming pocket book -- STARCRAFT: QUEEN OF BLADES. Additionally, he mentioned his work on World of Warcraft: Lands of Mystery where he wrote the story of the Nerubians in Northrend, and World of Warcraft: Alliance Players Guide, and although, he didn't write the following -- some indirect hints of possible Faceless Ones lore. He spilled most of the beans on what the fans should expect from this new Starcraft bestseller book. To make a story short, we will be witness of the hardships of Tassadar's training into the Dark Templar philosophy with help of Zeratul. We will explore Jim Raynor's guilt and interaction with the Protoss. And fathom the Overmind's plans for the Queen of Blades ... shh! Read the Transcript.
