Blizzard Entertainment will be taking resumes from walk-in attendees at the 2009 Game Developers Conference through March 25-27. The event will be held at the Mocone Center, San Francisco. If you are into the gaming industry either as a student or as a developer and you are planning to go to the GDC; or you are a die fan of Blizzard games and have exceptional skills as an artist, 3D designer or other areas of interest to Blizzard, feel free to attend the event to meet the Job Staffing Crew. This is how Samwise Didier (Senior Art Direction) got into Blizzard years ago, and many other well-known developers. You could be the next to be part of the Blizzard Team.
You will find the Blizzard Global Staff Recruiters at the Career Pavilion (PDF): Booth Number 210 CP.
Wednesday, March 25: 10am-6pm
Thursday, March 26: 10am-6pm
Friday, March 27: 10am-3pm

Greetings,
I am a Blizzard fan of 15 years with a BS in Game Design looking for people to join our team of hardcore Blizzard fans! We are creating a game to showcase our skills/talents to Blizzard and other companies to get that job we strongly desire.
We (just like you) are tired of going unnoticed in the stacks of applications. We are going to make something that we can be proud of and most of all FUN!
We are looking for the following people:
– 1 Level Designer – Unreal III Engine (Some scripting knowledge a plus!)
– 1 Video Editor/FX Artist
– 1 Modeler (ZBrush, Maya, 3D Max)
– 1 Texture Artist
We already have 8 people on the team and are in conceptualizing stage.
It is a space themed game. Very dark and creepy.
Let me know if you are interested.
