This is not a Blizzard-licensed product news, but I thought some Diablo fans might be interested to read more stories from Robert B. Marks — writer of the first Diablo eBook (circa 2000), Diablo: Demonsbane — which is included in the Diablo Archive (752 pages).
Diablo: Demonsbane was a very interesting short-novella with a nice twist at the end.
Robert B. Marks is also known among the Diablo community for his Garwulf’s Corner blog, featured for years at the former Diabloii.net.
Robert B. Marks told me recently he will publish an original short-novella as a Kindle eBook, a story titled “The Traveller on the Road of Legends”. It should be out in the next couple of weeks. The short novella is influenced by Michael Moorcock’s Eternal Champion series, but fairly an original work.
The Traveller on the Road of Legends
It is the Road of Legends, the Great Road, the road between worlds. Veiled in mist, it is a pathway where anything is possible, where heroes battle with dragons, and where immortals wander in their endless lives. It is where a traveller can journey into the very stories, myths, and legends themselves.
And, deep in the mists of the Great Road, a madman will stop at nothing to destroy every single one of them.
Robert B. Marks, the author of Diablo: Demonsbane, invites you to take your first steps onto the Road of Legends…
