Blizzard has removed Ultra-Spectropic Detection Googles from Arenas and reduced the stealth detection of various items that offer a unfair advantage to PvP players due to its lower level quality. This has been an issue Blizzard has addressed in the past when Burning Crusade was introduced and with Wrath of the Lich King. PvP and PvE players always attempt to use level 60 or lower items in level 70 or 80 scenarios. Thus was the case with the Luffa, a level 45 item from the Searing Gorge quest Incendosaurs? Whateverosaur is More Like It. It is a trinket with the following ability … Use: Removes one Bleed effect.
Players would use this level 45 item to remove Moroes’ bleed effect in Karazhan, a level 70 dungeon. Blizzard immediately fixed this by adding this requirement: Will not work on bleeds cast by enemies over level 60. (3 Min Cooldown). Now we see a similar solution to curb players from using low level items to detect stealthed players. The question remains whether Blizzard will introduce at a later time level 80 items to detect stealthed players.
