Realm splitting? What’s that? Well Tseric brought us news that they will be conducting tests on the beta realms. They will make one realm into two realms. This is being tested for eventually live realms.
Blizzard is worried that some realms may get to overpopulated on some realms (because of TBC) that will make the queues unacceptable. So they are resort to this.
People who are worried that Guilds will be broken by this, don’t worry. Guilds will stick with guilds. If that still isn’t enough reinsurance, that you can still pick which part of the realm split you want to join. You won’t lose things like mail, auctions and ignore list. It won’t also have effect on the PCT cooldown.
