A new patch was released yesterday at 3:00pm PDT, notching up to build 8788. The file size was around 127mb making changes to some classes, adding new weapons to the Zul’Drak amphiteather quest, new models to Dalaran, bug fixes, and more.
The new Icecrown Glacier map was added.

Rhonin and Veressa Windrunner were added to the Violet Citadel in Dalaran along with Archmage Modera and Archmage Aethas Sunreaver. Rhonin, Veressa and Modera were characters from Warcraft: Day of the Dragon by Richard A. Knaak. Rhonin and Veressa have also been characters in War of the Ancients Trilogy and the upcoming World of Warcraft: Night of the Dragon (December 2008) which introduces the Malygos/Mages War backstory for the status quo in Northrend (Wrath of the Lich King expansion).

While exploring the Dalaran Sewer for any changes in this new build, something caught my attention. From afar I could see name tags, but whatever it was … it was too small. So I had to check it out. I cracked laughing: an easter egg. Some lab flasks, a rat, and four sewer turtles …
