Usually the beta.worldofwarcraft.com’s character-copy page would time out or redirect you back to the main page. Right now however it gives a forbidden error page. Lyquid (a diablo3.com forum member) suggested they may be running some maintenance in preparation to a beta forum. If it was a Starcraft beta, that would mean it would share the same server cluster as the one used for World of Warcraft beta. It is all rumor and speculation. There is no evidence this would be the case.
