A voice echoes in the darkness of my dreams. Alluring. Difficult to resist. I awake. The regrets. Devoid. Honorable and loyal … I was to my now forsaken and desolate kingdom. My faith barely sustains me anymore. I look into the ground behind me, the burden on my shoulders deepens and buries the dry leaves before my passing. A voice echoes once more, startling me.
