Recently we gave you a sneak peek into the StarCraft: Heaven’s Devils hardcover novel by William C. Dietz. In our video preview, you could see at the final pages, a section with a length of thirteen pages which summarizes the entire StarCraft Timeline..
This novel covers much of the mysterious past of Jim Raynor at the moment he was age 18, up to the moment he joined the Confederate Marine Corps during the Guild Wars. Raynor was captured by the Kel-Morian Combine, and interrogated ruthlessly. After his escape, he went AWOL and there began his outlaw years for the next six years until Tychus Findlay was arrested. After that, Jim Raynor decided to settle back. Got married, and got a job as a Marshal.
Any decent StarCraft lore fanboy out there, including myself, have always wished Blizzard Entertainment could elaborate and explore in-depth this mysterious time period of the Koprulu Terran history to learn more about the Kel-Morian Combine and the Umojan Protectorate.
The wait is over folks. Blizzard Entertainment and Gallery Books present you StarCraft: Heaven’s Devils.
There you will see a few tie-ins with the recent Wildstorm StarCraft monthly comics # 1-7. That scene described by Cole Hickson in the Wildstorm’s StarCraft comics by Simon Furman (The Transformers) where Cole met Jim Raynor at the Kel-Morian Internment camp-36 on the planet Turaxis II plays out center stage in the hardcover novel. That’s what I love about Blizzard’s Creative Team — continuity and tie-ins; the care and polish of details and the whole shebang.
I don’t know about you, but knowing how many rabid-hungering lore-fans out there have been craving for anything with the keywords Kel-Morian and Umojan Protectorate for years — I recommend you to pick this up before they get sold out. It takes a few months to restock with a second edition printing.
Don’t think I will let you drooling there after letting you smell the big steak. Here you got a crumb below, but if you want the steak, you gotta head over get your paws on the book.
I transcribed the whole thing for you. I don’t doubt I will have the Blizzard’s Men in Black team sneaking on my back.

Probably best if I don’t here as a) they may be retcons and b) the last time I did, it was deleted (probably a little too vehement in posting). However, you can see lists/explanations of the percieved discrepencies at the following:
