The Townlong Steppes zone was opened for testing in the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria patch build 15668. The Shado-Pan is strongly advancing into the Townlong Steppes to eradicate the Mantid threat and to do so the Yaungol will meet the BBQ grill.
The Townlong Steppes is where the Yaungol reside, and from what we can see in the Exploration video, the Mantid are controlling the Yaungol with the help of the Sha.
