“Following the success of the Upper Deck stand at London MCM Expo in May 2006, Upper Deck will be attending the show again in October 2006! Fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (now broadcasting on Nicktoons TV at 4.30pm every day and 9.30am weekdays) can visit the stand and participate in the number one Trading Card Game, Yu-Gi-Oh!
Upper Deck will be hosting mini Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments all weekend with lots of prizes and giveaways*. These are free to enter and open to all ages – just remember to bring your own deck along with you!
Upper Deck will also be showcasing the latest addition to their product portfolio, the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game (WoW TCG), which launches from 21st October across Europe. To celebrate the month of launch, there will be free demonstrations* of the WoW TCG and limited opportunities to buy the product* on the Upper Deck stand.
Every card in the WoW TCG set features original artwork, and WoW TCG artist, Greg Staples, will be a special guest on the stand. Greg Staples will be signing World of Warcraft TCG promotional cards and limited edition deck sleeves for the WoW TCG Starter Deck box for those who have a free demonstration*. Demonstrations will be limited, and booked on a first-come first-served basis, so make sure you arrive early to guarantee you don?t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity!
As well as Yu-Gi-Oh! and World of Warcraft activity, there will be free demonstrations of the new Avatar Trading Card Game, which launches across the UK & Ireland from September 27th. Based on the animated TV series of the same name, the Avatar TCG uses Upper Deck?s new QuickStrike gaming system to reflect the lightning fast action of the characters in the Avatar episodes! This game is fast, fun, and easy to learn, so make sure you come along to try the game and get some free Avatar promo cards*!
